Voted Best Firearms Dealer in Montana — Cream of the Crop 2025
Big news from the shop: Booze ’N Bait has been named Montana’s No. 1 firearms dealer for 2025 in The Prairie Star’s Cream of the Crop readers’ choice awards.
Cream of the Crop is a statewide vote where Montanans pick the businesses they trust most. For a small Troy shop that has been serving this corner of the state for more than 30 years, landing at the top of the firearms dealer category means a lot. It is not a trophy from a trade show. It is neighbors, hunters, and customers saying this counter is the one they count on.
We are a licensed FFL dealer. That means legal in-store firearm sales and transfers, done by the book, with safety and compliance first. Guns and ammo sit right alongside bait and tackle, hunting supplies, tags and licenses, sporting goods, and the Agency Liquor Store side of the house. One stop for the truck, the river, and the season.
Troy is not a big city, and we like it that way. People come in for a quick transfer, a box of shells, a tip on where the fish are biting, or just to sit a spell. This award is for every customer who voted, recommended us, and kept walking through the door at 315 E Missoula Ave.
Thank you, Montana. We will keep earning it.
