Bought a firearm online or from a seller who needs to ship to a licensed dealer? Booze ‘N Bait can receive it for you as your local FFL in Troy. Our $40.00 transfer fee is per gun and applies only when you buy a firearm (or suppressor) somewhere else and transfer it to Booze ‘N Bait. Firearms and suppressors bought here at the store have no transfer fee.

1. Call us first at (406) 295-4415 before you buy, so we can make sure we can accept the transfer and get our license information to your seller. We provide our FFL details directly to sellers; we don’t post them online.
2. Have the seller ship to Booze ‘N Bait. We’ll log the firearm in when it arrives and let you know it’s here.
3. Come in with valid government-issued photo ID. You’ll complete the federal firearms transaction form (ATF Form 4473) and we’ll run the required background check.
4. Pay the $40.00 transfer fee (per gun) and, once you’re approved, take your firearm home.

We’re a licensed FFL/SOT dealer, so ask us about suppressors and how the current transfer process works. Then stock up on ammunition for hunting season or the range, grab your Montana hunting license, and check our sporting goods for the rest of your gear.
